Bluetooth speakers

Hi,

Has anyone connected Bluetooth speakers to the T8-S and got them to work?

I turn on Bluetooth in the settings - it finds my Boombar2 Bluetooth speakers and connects to it successfully I assume as the speaker beeps with the usual connected sound.

However I get no sounds either in the Android menu or when playing a video or music. I have tried changing the sound settings - PCM, HDMI and Optical output - with no success.

I'm about to buy a BT speaker to test what the issue could be. Just checking no one in the office has one first.

Issue confirmed here as well. My T8 (not a T8-S) connects OK and works as expected (once paired, just turning on the speaker is enough to switch the T8 from using the TV to the little BT speaker automatically). An old X7 (with a Q7 label) worked, but the volume was a lot lower, turning it up led to distortion. T8-S pairs but doesn't play through the speaker, and the TV's audio comes out choppy until the speaker has BT turned off.

I'll report it up the chain and see if the firmware developers can replicate and fix.

I'm using Liztek bluetooth Speaker and built-in microphone. It's easy pair with my smartphone and no pin required.
