Blank screen on iMX6 box, nothing happening

I bought an iMX6 box for my son-in-law in January from Amazon (order no.026-6408137-0605911 17/01/15)
He recently turned it on but got a blank screen. I have had a look at it and tried the cocktail stick in the AV port but all that we get is the blank screen, no icons or prompts. What can we do?

Think its time to use live chat on the main droidboxs site, the link is on the 1st page of this forum then the green box in the corner witch says chat or message in.

did you remove the power lead first then whilst holding in the cocktail stick conect the power lead and wait until the android icon appears, it can be a bit tricky and may need a couple of attempts

Yes tried this several times but with no joy

like david said, i think you need to contact driodbox support. if you cant access the reset screen you wont even be able to flash updated firmware
