Bittboy v3.5 1.3.1 problems

Hi, first post here and sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.

I got my Bittboy v3.5 through today and was having trouble with horizontal glitches on the screen so updated the firmware to v1.3.1 23-09-19 following the guide at bit.ly/bittboycfw

That seems to have worked as it does boot up, but now none of the controls work at all. The buttons do nothing. So I can’t use it at all. Has anyone had this same problem or knows how I can solve it?

Also it says that if you just switch it off that’s a bad a shutdown, is there anything I can do to allow a safe shutdown by just turning it off?

Was the controls working before you updated the firmware? It should not have any display glitches on original firmware so it may be a hardware issue. If you have not already please email us at [email protected] with your order number and if possible a photo of the glitches and we can set up a return for inspection. Thanks.
