Is your kodi 15.2 setup on the android side the same as your openelec side? That would make copying it a whole lot easier

Go out to droidbox homepage and into T8s Plus v1 page, the firmware links are in the 2nd thread down dated May.

I don't use kodi on android, only openelec. Is there a reason why the ota on android isn't working?

So just to clarify, a kodi 15.2 settings backup can't be restored to a more recent version?
Last time I used the ota it updated kodi on openelec to a newer version, keeping all the settings intact.

I think I might wait until 17.3 is officially available, as I can't face setting Kodi up again a third time right now.

Thanks again for you answers.

I think if you were to use a 15.2 build on 16.1 you would probably get some dependency clashes, would be easier to just rebuild a clone of the build from scratch. Follow my last post in this thread to update your firmware with an sd card if you have no ota update available.

Hi Sean, Thanks for your help, I'm using the ares build on Android now everything seems ok. although a lot of the addons don't seem to work very well now but hopefully that will change in time.

Is there anyway the droidbox team could put back up the LibreElec 8.0.1 update to replace the 8.0.2 update on the previous page please, at least that way the forum members can get LibreElec Kodi 17.1 onto their devices as that update is rock solid with no problems getting back to android. Just until the 8.0.2 update problems get ironed out that is.....
