best way to get addons???

Going to take nigelars advice and stay away from builds. Ive been using top tutorials build which doesnt seem to work. Rather than type the whole http:// thing I can get all the repos from toptutorials repo.
Is this defeating the object????
for example do I type in add source http://kodi.filmkodi.com
for specto
then other addons which is time consumning or
type in the top tutorials repo
and get filmkodi from there and other repos????

not a good idea (using toptutorials for the repos)

you should wipe kodi (clear data) and start again. putting the addons on one by one.
you can get lots of addons in one place by using the fusion addon installer which automatically installs the repos and will save you some time.
i only run around 15 addons so it shouldn't take much time if you limit yourself to the addons you really use all the time (2/3 movie ones plus a couple of alternatives should be enough)

i didn't say stay away from builds. i said if you are going to use one, use a reliable one like sean's build.

Fusion is the home source for many of the addons like phoenix, exodus, salts, sports devil so i would always go there for their repos.

ok so Ive put a load of blood sweat and tears into adding my own addons.
Theres a kodi addon called back up
Ive put a load of addons on kodi not dmc
If I back up kodi coud I rstore it on my dbmc???
does this work???
when kodi 17 comes out can I just restor the 16 backup onto the 17??????
