authentication code required on t8 pluss

just got a new t8 pluss for my sister and its asking for a authentication code I read some users last week had the same problem. you can bypass it but it renders apk like droidbox share useless. Does any1 have the code so i dont have to wait till monday

where is it asking for this code? i have never seen it and i have reset my T8S plus many times and changed firmware.

can you do a reset in recovery menu see if that will fix it?

its on the new t8pluss models i have one from september and it doesnt ask 4 it but my sisters is new and it asks it

Seen a number of people on the forum with the issue recently @sblabs , across different boxes.
You can hit enter and it will bypass the code check or hit home or "back" key to bypass the check as a temporary measure.
I think Droidbox will need to provide the code as a permanent fix (for example it would be needed following a factory reset I think).

thanks yeah i seen a few post looking back at the forum now. maybe its like palpatine was saying it might be on the new boxes.

Hi have a new box and it requests and 8 digit auth code. I have been hitting the back key twice on the air remote to return to home screen. Bit of a nuisance and was going to speak to droidbox about it.

is that when you do a full reset from recovery menu you get asked for this code?

ive reset and updated it

Did you contact DBX to get this code? sound like a real pain this code, good luck getting it sorted am sure DBX support will help you out.

it looks like this is on firmware v108, i just done the OTA update and on first boot i got a box, it asked me to confirm registration and click ok, i have not done a full reset yet will test that tomorrow, if it starts asking to confirm some pin ill go back to v107

its a diferent box the digi bit e.g boot is green not blue
