We are currently working on a new version DroidBOX T8-S Plus with Lolipop 5.1, s812H, 2gb ram, 32gb rom, 1gbit lan and 802ac wifi. It will support DTS,DD and DD+. Currently testing if it is possible to bring True HD and DTS HD into it
Few important updates about our DroidBOX T8-S product.
- Starting from 27/10/2015 all T8-S devices ordered from our website - Best Android TV Set top boxes with Kodi in the UK by DroidBOX will be shipped with 16GB ROM memory (hope Mark could update product review to say it will be shipped with 16GB ROM)

We hope to finish software within next 2 weeks. Then testing. An it should be available by the end of November.

Google has introduced some security improvements in Lollipop 5.1 and it rooting is not as straight forward as it used to be. But it will be possible to root it by manually aplying update through recovery.

Hi - so I ordered my T8-S from Amazon which said it was fulfilled by DroidBOX on the 28/10 but I got 8GB ROM not 16GB? #feelingrobbed

Testing a newer build, we'd hoped to release one already, but if we find problems in testing, it won't get published. Sorry for the delay, but once we have an image that properly passes testing, we'll publish it.
