So my T8V2 box is playing up again and the supplier I purchased it off aren't exactly falling over them selves to help me, this being the second replacement box they have sent ( sure it's the same box I had before , same issues)

I am now thinking of saving myself the sheer frustration of continually bouncing emails to them only to be told to try things watch this video and contact some one else .

So to cut to the chase how dose the t8 mini stack up against my old t8v2 with ease of use and reliability, and hopefully better customer support. I can install wizards and generally do enough to keep the box working.

Can you link to the exact device you originally purchased, we should be able to compare it against the T8 Mini more accurately that way.

OK, looking at their T8, it now has an AmLogic S812 inside, it may have been an S802 previously.
8 or 16Gb storage (the earlier ones were 8Gb I think)

HDMI 1.4 (4K/UltraHD at 30Hz instead of 60Hz basically)

Any regular users of the T8 Mini notice anything else worthy of pointing out, in terms of the differences to be found?

Cheers for the info going to have a good read but from what I've seen most seem happy with the box . One last question or two dose the box come running the latest firmware? or do I have to do the upgrade and if so dose it upgrade over the air or do I have to use the dreaded sd card method.

And finally is it the same sort of process to install a wizard on most of these boxes.

Sorry for the questions but don't want to be left in the dark this time as so many sites have your money and then leave you to blunder about in the dark..

Hi, I have a T8 mini and it is a great little box, it has a OTA update so you can keep your box up to date. It should come with the latest, and is running 5.1 lolipop so it ready for kodi 17. Krypton.
Most people run wizards and you can still add your own links too.
