Airplay on droidbox ts-8

hello i have all apple hardware and want to just watch a film ive downloaded on my iphone but it doesnt aeem to want ro work in anyway. The airplay icon i have is black with a white box in it. My tv is smart so set up to internet as well so bery confused although i so use ethernet to connect droidbox. Please help amd also it keeps saying amlogic tv not sony k nlah blah thank you loads

Check the OTA Updater see if you have an update as it's red now.
Worth a look.

If Airplay stopped working just restart your apple device and your Droidbox. As the router might have to resync the connection .. apart from that. The Airplay should work

Well i have the bt aports app open on myphone playing then i goto airplay and droidbox comes up as an option i click that but nothing. Or do i have to click on airplay firat orrr? Wow im such anidiot at all this thank tou for helping me

You need to pair it up 1st, start Airplay up then your iPhone then if I remember you have to put a 4 digit number in. Been a long time since I've used it.
