It isn't just added to the bottom of the list? As in navigate to the right of the screen with the cursor buttons, then press down past the last visible icon? You could also drag the list up if you have a controller you can easily move an on screen cursor with.

Can you explain what the home key would do if it were behaving "regularly"? Someone might have an idea then - I'd always assume the home key would take you to the launcher.

It's been a while since I dabbled with it, but from memory I used to press the Return/Go Back key once. This would make the on screen keyboard disappear, and the Enter key on a physical keyboard operate as expected.

I've not got one, so haven't delved into the firmware side of things, it might be quickest to email DroidBOX support with your order number and postcode to double check. As for interacting with the applications, if a USB mouse can't access those areas either, there is something wrong/unusual...

There are some options related to this within Kodi - is this the app you're playing the videos in? If not, let us know the name of the app (MX Player for example) and we'll check what can be done.

If this is via an ethernet cable, can you try temporarily via WiFi. Likewise, if until now you have been connecting via WiFi, can you you try via a network cable (ethernet) for a few minutes? Even if it means putting the TV and DroidBOX somewhere you'd not use regularly, for a temporary test...

Can you try borrowing a normal USB mouse for a few minutes? As in from another device in the house or even borrowing one from a friend for an evening. Connect it, see if clicking buttons with the USB mouse's left mouse button behaves as expected.

From the date and lack of other operating systems being mentioned, I think it is a T8 firmware on there, and trying the recovery firmware from above would be worth a shot. HOWEVER, I'm not staff and can't offer any guarantees or help if it bricks the device. Might be worth emailing...
