    Thank you for your quick reply. The power supply should support the USB ports, So I assume a USB pen drive would be OK, would a SSD drive use more power than a pen drive? Thanks in advance Peter

    Hello I have purchased a X96 max plus from droidbox. I would like to add an SSD drive to record and play tv programmes and films on an external USB 3 SSD drive. Will an unpowered drive be OK or do I need a powered drive to attach to the USB 3 port on the box. Many thanks in advance Peter
