Is the card in the right format? Some linux distributions will onyl read SD cards if they're in a certain format (usually ext4 or exFAT).
Did you do anything on the Android side just before it stopped working?
Not really. About 99% of games are just find the game, find the BIOS for the console (if necessary) and play.
For a very small minority of games you might need to peek into the settings to optimize things, but the vast majority of PSX titles run out-of-the-box on the ANBERNIC third-gen devices.
I've honestly never heard of such an error on any emulator.
I can only assume that perhaps the files you're using are corrupt or otherwise incorrect in some way. It'd be a good idea to try sourcing from elsewhere (I can't say where unfortunately).
Letting us know the error message would be a great help:)
And when you say "Japanese origin", are you referring to the version of the game? Or do you literally mean "games that were developed in Japan"?
If you're using one of the T8's it could be anywhere from Android 4 to Android 6 realistically. But given what you've laid out it's probably Android 4.
Unfortunately none of these boxes have any legitimate/safe methods of updating to newer versions of Android. At best you might be able to find...
The module with the HDMI port is a HDMI-in thats mostly intended to be used for interfacing w/ servers. It's a KVM module.
So I'd imagine it doesn't support audio, although I'm not able to verify at the moment.
Yeah, a reset is always worth trying in my opinion. Just make sure to make a list of what apps/etc. you had installed.
Additionally, perhaps try connecting the box via Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi if you haven't already.
Usually internal microSD card slots are wired slightly differently USB interfaces, so I'd chalk it down to poor programming on the update program's part. Or something like that anywho.
Is the stuttering happening on other apps (youtube, etc.)?
If not, then it's probably an issue with the Kodi addons themselves. In which case your best bet would probably be to seek a new one.
The GPD Pocket 3 is the third entry in GPD's line of hyper-compact miniature laptops.
It combines design philosophies from both the GPD Micro PC and the GPD Pocket 2 into a single package. With a high quality display and a large number of interfaces, it's an excellent portable device.
The GPD...
Because you're on Windows 11 it's difficult to say for sure unfortunately.
When we carried out the updates here, it was on Windows 10 PC's with a card reader. So you may need to purchase a dedicated USB card reader.
For C64, Spectrum and Amiga - the first port of call I'd make is RetroArch. Cores already exist for these platforms and they probably work alright?
For the BBC Micro - I guess Beebdroid?
I've not tried any of these. But, if you remap control (or even use the keymapping update to handle...
I think it'd be best to go poke the 351ELEC team themselves.
IIRC there's no way to easily set controls without delving into config files since the average user isn't expected to use an external controller.
Might be worth bringing up on their discord (you can find a link from the 351Elec website). There's probably a reason for them to be restricted to exFAT but heck if I know what it is. :p
Definitely unusual. JELOS is a small project by one guy though, so he probably has his reasons for it.
At...
There might be cards loaded with games you can buy on ebay or something. But I'd suggest just researching how to source your own games. It'll save you money and set you up with knowledge you can use for the rest of your life.
There's unfortunately no specific thing you can search for that will 100% get you what you're looking for.
Some online stores sell cards with fully-loaded Raspberry Pi installations on them. But the thing is those cards are formatted in a specific way to only work in Raspberry Pis (you can...
