Hi, Does anyone know how to set up the LG smart TV IPTV???? I have it installed on my TV and want to try it out. Im not sure if it will link to M3U playlist and need to know basically how to set it up and link to M3U playlist - maybe even where to find a good one. A bit different I know!!!! Dave

It does. I just turned on Simplink and it worked perfectly. Just one less remote for me.

Ye Hee Hee. I asked on the Forum if there was a way of wither turning the time to a decent brightness so it could be seen or turning it off. I was advised there is no way but tape would sort it. Worked a treat. Dave

Nice 1 Ray. I think the T8 Mini is a really nice bit of kit also. Mine is running smooth as silk at the moment - logging straight into Openelec 16.1 I'm pleased I upgraded. Ive even stuck a bit ov black tape over the clock coz it was annoying me. Dave

Just a quick one - may be helpful to anyone who hates too many remotes. I have an LG Smart TV and I turned Simplink on. Then when I chose the HDMI slot for my T8 Mini - the TV remote controls it. Just a few different buttons but if like me you like a simple remote with no bells or whistles then...

Its difficult to keep on top of it as an admin - its just one of those things. The forum is mint.

Hi again Nigelar - I am running Jarvis 16.1 or it loads with the startup screen stating this. Ive taken a couple of pics of my system for you or anyone else to look at who can advise me better.

I had a problem with this. I started playing around with the settings. My tv is 5ohz. I changed my settings to 24FPS and also chose the option to match the TV frame rate. Its spot on and as smooth as silk now. Hope this helps.

Hi again everyone. Having now been a user ov the T8 Mini for a few weeks - I am totally converted to Droidbox. However - Im seeing posts about updates and things relating to T8S - is my T8 Mini up to date at the moment? I am pretty sure its running Jarvis 16.1. (I only use the openelec side)...

There is more and more crap from spammers being used as threads. I rana forum for years and I know its difficult to stop but it sort of spoils the feel and look of the site. Any ideas admin to get rid? Dave
