Also Internet speed if you are on WiFi try a speed test if it's low then this can cause issues. You could try Ethernet cable and try again....Here's some builds you could try. https://tvcordcutterz.com/kodi-wizards/tutorial-how-to-install-titanium-build-on-kodi/ I have this on one of my boxes...

    Help on set up?

Check the battery contacts inside the remote aren't brown from a battery leakage. Also give it the fix it tap or bang see if this helps. If you get another remote have alook at the VIP ones or the B52, the latter is charged by USB. Plus they have keyboards on them.

    Boot into openelec

Hi, just had it confirmed from droidbox support and only in openelec is it ok to power off using the remote or power button. Android kodi should be closed down properly so it doesn't cause issues with files. So like thegazsheard said "he's been doing it from November".......powering off the box...

Check out the MXQ Pro it's good little box and nice and small too. It's also got android lollipop so it ready for the next version of kodi. Plus it's not to expensive, I've got one and find it very good with kodi and other apps.

    Boot into openelec

It's is not recommended to shut down ever while watching something. You need to back out of the add-on and go to the main kodi menu and in Android side use the power off icon so it shuts down properly. Hope this helps.

    Boot into openelec

Hi, I've had in the past a imx6 box which was the Media version and this only had a Linux based version of kodi on it. To power off you just clicked on the power icon on screen and it was off. With the T8-S, T8-S plus and T8mini in openelec running 15.2 you are given the option to reboot or...

    droid box switch

Basically kodi or DBMC runs on the android side and run great, but if you have a lot of apps running in the background then this can slow kodi down. Openelec is its own system separate to android and when you switch it shuts down and reboots in to openelec. This mean kodi runs nice and smooth...

    Kodi

You could if you want to is also down load kodi from the Play store which auto updates apps. Although on lollipop you have to go into Play store and update them yourself. Plus last thing is the next version of kodi will only work on lollipop and above..up to now anyway.

    Kodi

No that's normally done in the OTA updater, although you can do DBMC in the droidbox Market. Openelec is done in a OTA update when a version is stable, at the moment droidbox are testing openelec 16.1 and might be available soon. So with droidbox you are always up todate. I've been droidbox a...
