Yes and this drives up prices....and there not many good games on it. Plus there loads of android games and apps in the Play store you'll be missing out on.
Plus can it take kodi 17.0 krypton when it comes out.
To be fair the T8mini is a good box and the T8-S plus is to. I've been with droidbox for a while and when I've had problems they have aways fixed it or found a solution. My current problem with my box will get sorted and I'm sure yours will.
Yes the Shield is a good piece of kit, but it's very...
I've got issues with Audio in LibreELEC and is starting to annoy me.
But I know it will get fixed, just might take a bit longer then what I thought.
I'm sure your issue will be sorted soon to.
Dave
There an issue with this on lolipop so I'd recommend that this is not installed on your box. A factory reset will fix it, but you will need to wait 15 mins after so apps can install. Then you can go and run a wizard inside kodi.
Best of luck
How do you get back to openelec if there's no launcher menu.
Have you installed the droidbox play market (games).
Looks like a full factory reset might be needed sorry.
If you power off and use a tooth pick in the recovery menu, power on and hold until you get the recovery menu. Now clear cache 1st then try reboot to android. See if this works 1st, and good luck.
If you are in openelec and are trying to get to android, go to openelec configuration (programs) then system and on your right go to reboot to android see if this helps.
As I understand droidBOX are looking into these issues, and hopefully be resolved soon. It's just frustrating when these boxes go wrong and at a weekend.
Been trying to sort my audio issues, but ran out of ideas..
Try settings it in transcoding see if it works. It is a strange one and hope it will get sorted soon. I'll keep trying, but running low on things to try. Glad I've still got android side to fall back on.

Just testing mine and sorry to say it's working fine. I think the issues are down to timing. In openelec configuration there's pool.ntp.org in connections. But in LibreELEC it's not, this is for A/V timing.
I've put it in and rebooted and it's still having problems.
For 5.1 make sure you have...
I've done a full reset and flashed again and still getting some minor issues with picture and Audio. In both HD and SD...
Android is fine so far so might have another play around later see if I can get to the bottom of this.
