Turn off MediaCodec (surface), plus go to system and system and video output and set Vertical blank to always enabled then go to Audio output and turn off Keep audio device alive. Ray can you try these setting in LibreELEC see if they help...I had issues and this sorted it out, plus a few other people have tried and it's worked for them.

The T8mini has just had an update is this the one you are on about, plus I think the mini is a great box. The fire stick isn't bad but you can't put much on it as kodi then starts having issues. Could you list the problems you are having so we can help.

Did you have a look at the 'How to link' I left in another thread on surround sound. If you have no luck I'll test it myself on my T8-S plus box. Can you tell which stream you are using so I can replicate it. Won't be able to test it till latter, but at leased you will know. Can you also try...

I dont bother with auto detection, just set it manually...

Can you also make sure you have the latest firmware and have cleared data in kodi before you run a wizard. Plus keeping kodi clear of unwanted stuff is good use a maintenance tool like Ares wizard to clear thumbnails, packages and cache is good. Keeps things running good...hope this helps and...

OK make sure outside kodi in setting (two cogs) sounds then digital sounds and make sure this is set up correctly. If it is then go into kodi and system, system and Audio output and check here as well...

Try using your mobile if you can...it's in droidbox share. Also there's loads for kodi in the Play store. I use Kore remote for kodi, works well.

In SALTS add-on setting you need to move to the right on the top bar. The termepac just adds colour back grounds not thumbnails. Again you can get this inside add-on setting....if you don't have this then yours must be different to mine...don't know how..

Still not as good as Openelec 16.1 and I haven't updated my T8mini because it's alot smoother. Now android is smoother then LibreELEC on the T8-S plus...

When we tested LibreELEC it was fine and never had any issues, until it went live on the OTA updater then it became sluggish. Had to play around with settings to get a happy medium.
