How long had this problem been occuring? Is it connected to any updates you have done?
Lets establish that first.
Typeing chrome video green screen into google returns a number of results so some users of other android devices have experienced similar problems.
You could try this
Go to settings > HDMI CEC > CEC Switch: On > Auto change language: Off.
If that doesn't work and none of the android language settings work i would try a factory reset.
I guess this isn't a machine supplied by Droix. But if none of the above works can you contact the supplier?
Are you sure the wifi is dropping though? Buffering can be due to contention on the host server end. Quick test - try an ethernet connection. If still buffering then 99% host contention.
Not certain what you are trying to do here. Kodi uses "add-ons" not apps. Android uses apps. Most Kodi support sites have instructions on how to locate and install add-ons.
Apps installed from Google play normally auto install. If you get the apk from somewhere else and download it, normally...
My references to Kodi is only relevant if you are using a Philo kodi add-on (if one exists) hence my question seeking clarity. If you are streaming via chrome then that should have all the necessary DRM permissions. Make sure you have the latest version of chrome or maybe try firefox

To be honest, most of us buy something like an air mouse (see the Droix accessories page) which provide a much better user...
I have tested some channels with and without a vpn and also get issues. The servers used by the app may be down or more likely hit by blocks. It is also possible the app is no longer being maintained and links are dead.
Shame.
It sounds like, for some reason you are not connected via ethernet. When you go into Android - settings - network does it clearly show wifi:not connected ethernet:connected?
I have run a speedtest using Ookla speedtest app on my Droix supplied machine (which is about 4 years old and also...
A few things to consider:
- are you using a vpn?
- try a different ethernet cable
- what d/l speed do you get on wifi?
- are other devices using the internet connection?
In the event 25mbps is more than enough for streaming so i would not be inclined to worry to much
Ripped off by who? Netflix?
As suggested, look for an older compatible version before Netflix introduced an incompatible one. And shout at Netflix as well for doing so.
