Hi

I just received my droidbox X7 from Amazon. When I boot up it stays on the boot screen and never moves on - the remote does not have any affect. I have unpluged numerous times and no change.

Please help, otherwise will have to return to Amazon and geta refund.

With the power cable removed from your X7, please:

Locate the reset switch found on the bottom of your X7 and hold it down. Please don't release it until told to.
Reconnect the power cable and turn your X7 on.
Once you see the recovery menu appear, you can release the switch.
Select the Wipe Data/Factory Reset option, and then confirm you're certain.
Once the process completes, reboot the device and then wait 20 minutes after completing the set up screens, leaving the device at the launcher's homescreen (this gives it time to reinstall all the applications).
Don't forget to then Use The DroidBOX Wizard Add-On in XBMC.
