widi receiver not working

Hello!

I have a Droidbox W10 and in android mode, I have the widi receiver app, which doesn't seem to work properly.

If I try to connect up my android tablet to use miracast, it works quite well, but trying to mirror my Windows 10 fails because it asks for a WPS pin - that is nowhere to be found..?

I was also wondering if I could use the widi receiver within Windows to mirror another device, rather than having to always go into android to mirror...

Any ideas / tips welcome...

WPS pin should be in your router settings.

192.168.1.1 in your browser.

EDIT.. There may even be a sticker on the back/bottom of your router with the pin on it.

Other likely possibilities for your modem's IP address:

http://192.168.0.1
http://192.168.1.254
http://192.168.0.254

think I've seen http://192.168.1.240 so may as well add http://192.168.0.240 as well.

adding http://192.168.1.1 so you've a clickable version to try.

If you don't get any joy with finding the PIN that way, let us know the make and model of the modem/router. Not 100% sure this will help, but may as well try.

Good point SS, I bought my router and use the Virgin one as a modem.. the addy for the Virgin router is.
