Version 1 Vs Version 2 - CPU / GPU Performance Differences

Version 1 uses

• Processor (CPU) : AmLogic S812 - 2.0 GHz
• Graphics (GPU): OctaCore Mali 450 - (8 cores)

Version 2 uses:

• Processor (CPU) : AmLogic S905X - 1.5 GHz
• Graphics (GPU): PentaCore Mali 450 - (5 cores)

Therefore::

Does the version 2's CPU give slower performance (1.5 Ghz, 0.5Ghz less than version 1)
Does the version 2's GPU give slower performance (5 cores, 3 cores less than version 1)​

Can anyone who has both of these devices do a through performance comparison (when system is idle) using well known bench-marking apps and provide the results so that they can be compared...

There are plenty of independent performance reviews of both machines out there and they can be found on google in seconds.
The t8s plus v2 runs the amlogic s905 processor not the s905x. I believe the processor is clocked at 2.0ghz not 1.5ghz.

Attached is a .PDF file from the page of the droidbox website, showing specifications. It happens to state Amlogic S905X processor, at 1.5GHz ?

But the independent reviews do not compare between the devices (maybe processor only), and they may not use the same test, and other factors (such as testing using 32-Bit app, or 64-Bit app (as for version 2's processor is 64-bit, and version 1's is not)).

Good luck getting someone to run the tests for you since you seem to mistrust all independent testing.
