Kodi is moving away from 3rd party add-ons. Kodi 17. has warnings on it and not sure about running wizards.

No probs, lot of rumours going around about kodi stopping builds working on 17 krypton. Nothing set in stone as of yet, all here-say but if it does turn out that way there would still be dbmc and spmc to turn to. Also kodi would be nothing without those 3rd party addons imo.
