Tail chasing burnout

From youtube directions; downloaded Kodi and ... build for 2 laptops; all went well.
I can't figure out how to download kodi on my Minix U-1 android box
I've been chasing down youtube tutorials, chat sites for days.
Plenty of instructions on loading up Kodi but zip on setting up to get to the Kodi site via the android box.
Any help on this? Much appreciated.

Have you not got an internet browser on the Minix box? D/l it from kodi.tv then or you can put the version needed from there on a memory card/stick and install kodi that way.

Or you can get it from Google play store if you have a google account.
Make sure you have at least android 5 or later on your android box to get the latest version (Kodi 17).
If you don't you can get back versions (Kodi 16 Jarvis etc) from the Kodi.tv site Sean recommends.

Kodi 17 (normal Android 32 bit, normal CPU) http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/kodi-17.0-Krypton-armeabi-v7a.apk (do see Nigelar's comment above, your box will need to be running Android 5 or higher for Kodi 17 to install)

Same again, for Kodi 16.1 http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/kodi-16.1-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk

Downloaded kodi to a stick. Can't see the program or the usb on it ?? Text Minix 'help' for instructions on downloading kodi to the U-1 , no reply yet.
