ROM update

Hi

I notice that I have a message telling me there is a rom update via the OTA updater available. As I am new to this and not done one before I was wondering if I run the update will it mean I have to re install all my apps and set up again or will it keep these as they are?

If you run the OTA updater you will need to highlight the clear data...not sure if this comes up on the T8-S plus.
This will install the new update to your box, but will also take it back to a new install...so yes you will need to install your apps and re-run the wizard in kodi.
Make sure you have time as it can take a while, but it keeps your box up to date and running well.

Hello Phil,
You don't need to install all the Apps on your device as but you will need to reinstall the Apps that you have manually installed on your device.
