For some reason my keyboard won't come up anymore when I need it to... How do I get it to come up please?

Click on the Settings icon from your launcher's homescreen.
If it is colourful, click the last tab, then More Settings.
Now find and click on the Language and Input option. Select the item that mentions "Default", then turn Hardware Keyboard off. The on screen keyboard should now pop up when the cursor is in a text field.
