Reliable Skype Calling?

Has anyone got Skype to work reliably? We found a generic webcam (sweex) and it works well with Facebook messenger (the Microsoft lifecam cinema did not work at all). However when doing Skype videoconference everything is ok but then my sending video freezes - rest of call ok.

Has any one got this working reliably?

We had same issue on a galaxy tab. We uninstalled and reinstalled on the tab and it worked ok.

We tried this on the mxqpro and that seemed to do the trick. We now have Skype not freezing and the Microsoft lifecam cinema working aok. I will report back if it fails.

I spoke too soon - tried again and no camera :-( it just never starts
Ahh found a reboot of the box fixes it.... At least for a while....

We'll get this checked as well, probably tomorrow before testing can be done though.

Some webcams presented problems, however a Logitech C920 made multiple video calls in Skype, was left alone a while, and was still working afterwards.
