since the ota update of the box recently my kodi freezes at least twice a day at different stages ,loading lists or other things in general, its getting so annoying having to turn of kodi and reboot openelec version.as I have said in other threads this openelec is really more trouble than its worth.i might as well just send this back and use my x7 which has been faultless for about 4 years

I have given up on the openelec ,nothing but trouble since I got this box a couple of months ago .i just use the android version which I have updated to Jarvis. I only bought this box because it can play h.265 files

Sometimes users get stuck in OpenELEC and yes as it is a different operating system it confuses users in the beginning. For now if you are OK on the android side go with that. And i would recommend learning about How To OpenELEC here in our forums and see if that can help you get going.

using openelec aint a problem its the constant problems It throws up, freezes and crashes aint a user prob .the android version is much more stable for me on this ts8 plus box and that's jarvis
