Hi just a Query
ive got a T8s. What is OpenELEC.
And what does it do. (newbie).
Cheers.
OpenELEC is the special OS,that runs XBMC(Kodi) on top of GNU/linux.
When you enter inside OpenELEC,you are not in Android anymore, you are inside OS that is designed to run only XBMC(Kodi)
This is good if you want to get better runtime on high end video format,or maybe to use different settings from the regular XBMC(Kodi).

Somewhere over the rainbow
If you want you can also set one up for kids and the other for more Adult content.
Also openelec is set up for a HDD so you can format it, and then use it if you want.
So its like having two boxes in one...
