M8 jumping on Kodi

I am trying to playback TV shows on Genesis and other programmes on Kodi however every 20secs or so the sound and picture jump which is really annoying. Can anyone help?

First option is to go to System - settings - video - acceleration and experiment with the hardware acceleration settings. First off, disable the mediacodec acceleration and see if things improve. If nothing, try other combinations.

Also check if one of the input device does not react randomly,and hardware acceleration method if needed.Please message back if the problem persists!
