M8 air mouse

I recently lost my original remote to my m8 android box so I decided to use my air mouse remote instead but it doesn't seem to be working. I've read all the instructions and Googled everything to try and find a solution. It just doesn't seem to work. I've tried everything. Please help.

have you tried putting the dongle in a different usb port

Also try replacing the batteries.

Also, plug the USB dongle into a laptop or desktop PC for a few minutes (allowing the drivers to autoinstall) and check how the remote then behaves.
