Lighthome annoying pop up

Hi everyone

I’m not particularly technical with this so please bare with me and answer in basic terms so I can get it if you don’t mind!

I have a Droodbox t8 I believe it is. All works fine I have no issues as such but one small thing is bugging me.

if I am using an app and then return to the home screen by pushing the home button on the remote, after a few seconds a white screen appears with ‘lighthome’ in the top left and it then instantly brings back the app I was on before. I close it again and it’s fine!!

It’s not a big deal but it’s annoying. What is it and how can I stop it??

There's an old reference here to Lighthome here and problems with the weather widget on these older machines.
May be the problem you have.
Solutions include using another hone screen app launcher (i use nova) or resetting the box.
