ipad mini as screen

This may seem like a dumb question but is there anyway to connect droidbox x7 to an ipad mini and use that as a screen/player?
This would enable me to sit in the same room as rest of the family!!

Streaming your X7's display onto an iPad (mini)...
I know some people use AirPlay to do the reverse of this (put their Apple device's screen on to the TV via their DroidBOX device).
I don't have an iPad/iPhone to test, but maybe you could try seeing if there is a miracast app for the iPad? If so, you may be able to tell the X7 to use your iPad as a remote display that way.

I've searched online, but most results seem to use an Android device as a media SERVER, and the iPad and as media player, rather than actually displaying what your X7 is putting on a TV. ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2592343 for example).
