Hi folks, I have the nbc live addon for xbmc on my imx6 running frodo 12.4 I have tried numerous proxy servers as it needs us sever but can't seem to get the addon to work. Best I've achieved so far was with Hola but it only played for a few seconds then crashed and went back to Hola screen. Anyone have this running in uk or can offer any advice/help please ?

Free Proxy servers are at best useless and the best way to access sites that require ip location/verification is to use a VPN. there are tons of free and paid for VPN sites out there and it can be a bit of a minefield. so I suggest you have a look at this first before deciding on your next course of action.. apologies if its grandma and eggs.. but it has some excellent info for the newbie.

Tunnel Bear is the one I normally recommend, apart from anything else you get 500Mb/month for free (more if you tweet about the company). That is plenty to test quality/reliability at different times of day. https://www.tunnelbear.com/
