How to locate add-ons ?

How can I find out in which repository a certain add-on is located ? An example : Sports Devil. When I go into its add-on settings, I see that the author is MaxMustermann. But it doesn't tell me in which repository I can find the add-on (in the meantime, I know now that is located in NJM Soccer Repo). Other example : VDubt 25, in settings the author is Mikey 1234, but it doesn't mention the repo (now I know that it is located in Superrepo).
On the other hand, there are add-ons which indicate the repo, such as Icefilms (author Eldorado, which is also the name of the repo).
Am I missing something ?

Yes can be a pain as they don't match like you say, you could go to TVADDONS site and if I remember they have them listed to there repos.
Still a lot of looking around and so many add-ons.....
