Newbie in the retro game scene. Messed around with Retropie, Lakka, Batocera, Recalbox etc. but thought I'd buy a cheap system to see what it was like.
Bought the RS-12 mini arcade from Droix and it's a lot of fun. Mostly bought it for the arcade games but there's only 20 on it.
I know it plays CPS 1 and 2 roms, but downloading from multiple sites and none seem to work. They either don't open at all, crash the device or just spin without opening. Really wierd as I got 2 roms working from 1 site but no others from the same site.
Does the emulator only play specific versions of these roms like the mame emulators?
Also noticed there are loads of firmwares for slightly different versions of the same board (retrogame 1.0, 1.0s, etc.). The RS-12 board is 1.1 so guessing theres no CFW for it.
If anyone can help with advice on what CPS roms work on it (not where to get them), I'd appreciate it.
