it seems that despite having read about this, I have allowed my GPD Micro PC to drop to 0% battery. Now it won't charge any more.
Curious thing is, I made sure to always shut it down, instead of putting to sleep.
But it seems it still keeps some state of stand-by, ultimately draining the battery to termination voltage and probably below. And that apparently combined with total lack of even the most rudimentary over-discharge protection.
I'm wondering if I should just request warranty support.
Alternatively I can get the battery out and charge it manually with an 8.6V AC charger, do you thing that would be worth it? Of course that won't be an option if the battery is already at 0 volts.
Linux Mint reports the battery at 7,6V, which for normal batteries indicates actual voltage. In this case however it might the battery board merely reporting nominal voltage.
