fix me now

does anyone know why after clicking fix me now for updates and add ons every film freezes or just buffers cant watch anything

Try clearing Cache and data for the xbmc

Main Menu>>settings>>applications>>XBMC>>Clear Data&Cache

I've done that. Now all I get is source web page down

New to this myself but I think clear cashe is ok but clear data resets Xbmc to first run state and you might need to run wizard again from program. As for film freeze and buffering I had this and watched a video on YouTube about maintenance tweaks and 0 cashe.xml which made the movie continue to cashe to memory if you pause for a few minutes so download was always ahead of what your watching. Check out YouTube videos they have been a great help to me. Hope this is some help.

I'd first try clearing XBMC's data, see this thread - Resetting XBMC To A "Just Installed" State , then ONLY installing the device specific pack in the DroidBOX Wizard, that is to say not also installing the Fix Me Now pack.

ive had the box since last october with no problems would a factory reset help. ive no sticker with number on bottom of box.
