Ethernet disconnected

Hi all,
Have T8-S droidbox connected via ethernet and decided to go into Google playstore tonight. Google asked me to connect via wifi for some reason. Did this but then decided to come out of playstore to reconnect using ethernet in settings. However, connection sits for 20 minutes saying "connecting" then says "ethernet disconnected" ?.

Tried several times. Rebooted droidbox. Restarted router. Tried new ethernet cable. All to no avail.

Any help appreciated.

Try this and see if it works

Clear data on the Play Store app:

1. 1. From Android TV’s Home screen, scroll down and select Settings.
      
      
   2. Under "Device," scroll right and select Apps.
      
      
   3. Under "System Apps," scroll right and select Google Play Store.
      
      
   4. Scroll down to Clear cache > OK.
      
      
   5. Scroll up to Clear data > OK.
