Droidbox T8 2015

Hi all.

I purchased a Droidbox T8 back in 2015. Watched it for a couple of years before upgrading to a T8S.
I'm trying to set up this older box to a spare TV without any success as all the apps & apk's don't appear to recognize this older model. (I think).

Is there anything you can suggest or does it go into landfill?

Most apps require Android 5 or above now and this device is Android 4 so some many not be compatible. If you go on to the Google Play Store, it should only show the apps that are compatible with your device.
