Downloading movies to Droidbox Go

I am struggling to download a film from Google play to the projector. I would like to download a film to the projector memory if I can or a USB so we can watch a movie without access to the wifi as there won't be any where we are going. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

I've not used Google Play's TV & Movies much, what happens when you try to download, is there an error message displayed? It might be worth checking if there are Settings you can configure to set the download path.

Do any members of the DroidBOX community have suggestions for things to try?
