Hi,

I have just taken delivery of my new T8s, and I am having trouble getting it to display on my choice of monitor (Dell 221h). This monitor (brand new) does not feature HDMI, but has dvi-d input instead, so I have purchased a HDMI to DVI lead. The monitor states an error message 'The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1080@60hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.' I have also plugged my laptop into the monitor and the monitor runs fine.

I have checked the box runs ok on a tv and its fine. This is a monitor issue, but I cant seem to crack it regardless of how I set the box display output (using the tv and then switching the display leads over).

Has anyone got any ideas on this, or should I buy yet another monitor?

Thanks in advance.

Try setting it up on your TV, you will need to go to setting then display and turn off auto detect. Then underneath select 1080 and 60 hz then try it on your monitor. See if this helps you.
