I really love the T8S-Plus' quickness and ease of use with Kodi, minus the fairly rare glitches that are easily solved by turning off and back on but Hulu is pretty much completely unusable (you can only click on whatever shows up on screen, there is no ability to scroll or flip across or down, what you see is what you get) and HBO Now will not allow me to get the play/show/volume info off of the screen (it should automatically disappear after a few seconds) and is also fairly difficult to navigate but not as bad as hulu. HBO simply says that the T8S isn't a supported device so there isn't really much they can suggest besides the basic stuff. None of Droidbox's suggestions have worked either. Has anybody tried these apps and had the same problems?

I don't have any of these problems with the Android Fire Stick (hulu and hbonow) or either of my Blu Ray players (hulu plus).

Thanks,

Joe

If it is the free Hulu service that you use, there is mixed news... They seem to be shutting it down. Boo.
Yahoo are alledgedly picking up some of the content, and if they use a different delivery protocol/method, hopefully the Hulu type issues won't be a problem any more.

With the OSD not vanishing automatically, do you have an Air Mouse function on your remote control(s)? If so, could you reboot the DroidBOX, then try temporarily turning it off. Let me know the controller if you're not sure how to do this. Once Air Mouse is turned off (so waving the remote in the air DOESN'T move an on screen cursor), launch HBO Now again and see if the issue remains.

Thanks for the reply. The Hulu service is the commercial free paid plan. HBO has a similar issue as well. I haven't even tried Netflix but I wouldn't be surprised if I have the same problem there too. It just seems these apps don't play nice with the droidbox at all. As for the remote, i'm using the standard remote that comes with the droidbox. I also have the keypad/mouse remote but haven't used it much at all. With either the OSD will not go away at all. I've tried restarting but nothing helps. I bought an amazon fire stick, none of these issues with this device at all.

With navigation issues (in general, not ignoring your post!), Air Mouse/trackpad and click and drag normally enables moving around the applications, when IR remotes (basic Up/Down/Left/Right/OK buttons) stop working.
Can you come and grab us for a live chat, we can remote into the device and check what is going on here.
