ohhhh damn. I just checked mine that I flashed a few days ago and spent hours setting up.... its now showing 2gb and 16gb storage. The firmware usually has to be the right one for the box like there is no "detection" of ram/flash.

I just bought one and have not had this issue, but then I haven't connected to wifi at the same time as ethernet. Try turning wifi off if you're using wired.
