thanks for the info i did that and setup super SU that all helped I guess I can now write to HDD. i noticed can only write to folders already on HDD so I figured out that with ES file explorer with root enabled that i can pick drive i want and then create folder and then be able to write to it...

has anyone used xinternalsd and WSM tools apps to swap storage? I watched youtube video showing how to use these apps to swap internal storage with external SD storage to be able to use the SD as local storage for apps. Also does anyone know if there is a way to increase system ram? my Droidbox...

Chmod 777 / storage/udisk0/Movies gives me operation not permitted. ..damn tricky stuff here touchy too. I can cd to folder for movies OK but when I do a chmod 777 to that folder it says no such file or folder B96Mike

Can someone please tell me how to backup my original factory firmware before I do an OTA update to my T8-s plus so if I don't like something or something stops working with the update (like the format HDD in Openelec disappearing) so I can go back to original version I had.

I had similar problem with T8-s Plus I had 46 Mbps wifi and 4 to 6 Mbps Ethernet. I got my box new 2 weeks ago and got tired of the circles I was going in with answers and explanations of why, maybe and how so I had the unit replaced and now it gets 109 Mbps Ethernet. I have Verizon service...
