Has anyone done the update, if so is it worth doing and does it update openelec, if so does it wipe all settings and data

It is not the b52, the b52 has got a set button and a tv button, these buttons also allow you to map the remote from the infared remote, at the moment I can't change what my buttons do and most of them do nothing, the remote is pritty useless

Picture of my remote, I have been told it's not a b52 remote, but when I purchased it with my t8s box I was lead to believe I was getting the b52 remote which you can teach from the infa red remote. This one you can't and it pritty much useless within kodi.

Sorted it I think. I did a reset and a reinstall of my build with using the woke wizard this time just using my own build and settings from my other boxes. So far so good

I get this message on the open elec update add-on, and you can't uninstall or disable it, I click yes to disable and the message pops up every 10 mins. These boxes are very frustrating,

Appreciate your help, when the message pops up it says do you want to disable the ad don I click yes and 10 mins later the pop up comes back, I have tried everything, and no one on live chat tonight it just sits there waiting. I will persist.

Thanks for your help. But In the openelec tab in systems I have got updates set to manual and in settings video I have got updates turned off. And that message still pops up every 10 mins. Think I'll be going back to my minix neo x8h plus. Do other people have these problems ?

This is the openelec updater app. You can't uninstall it for some reason or disable it. And if I switch my updates off then none of my add-ons will update. Very frustrating, I was recommended this box as I wanted to upgrade but I've had nothing but problems with it.

I brought my t8s droidbox with the intention of running kodi in openelec as I have heard it runs better. But it seems to be version 14.2. Is there a way to get the latest 15.2 version in openelec or will this only be possible in android mode
