I actually don't have a problem using the drive normally, it's just I can't move from internal storage to external (128gb thumb drive) my only issue is that I formatted it and now I have no permissions to write to it with es explorer any more, if it was using exfat file system the drive unmounts...

turns out a friend has a smbox (SM1) the specs are crappy but it does play all the files l wanted to on test, but its limited to 4.0 android, the smbox website suggests MXQ-4k firmware so lm currently in the process of updating the box he didnt want, either way lm planning on getting another one...
