Ares cant read the folders or the sysinfo correctly unfortunately - this was a safeguard to stop people "killing boxes" - by installing files that might be too big - There are known issues with SPMC 16.6 and some of the forks floating around. Gaming and apk installs wont work on Nougat (Shield) etc.

You see - i dont see how scraper code is affected by thumbnails - I havent looked at Specto code - but did when it was genesis and theres no correlation - its looking for files on remote sites, not on your local drive?!
There has to be something else going on - thumbs are unconnected to...
Whats interesting is you take part of it as valid and dismiss the rest.
Do you know what packages are?
Do you know that kodi manages them anyway as a default function?
