Does youtube play ok? If so the issue is likely to be with the hosting providers. Maybe overload on their servers, as you suggest due to more demand. I often find that advertised links don't play though, even in the pre covid days.

The Droix supplied Beelink GT King Pro (assuming you've posted in the right part of the forum) has a AMlogic S922X processor according to the specification. The 3 A95 Max boxes currently supplied by Droix all run either S905 or S922 amlogic processors. So it's hard to answer your question.

The processor is old and is no longer supported by the manufacturer so no more firmware updates. In any case the firmware is stable and works fine so an update would not offer anything new. You can still update apps through the google play store.

I believe this is due to Netflix's own certification policy. They will not allow current versions to work on Android boxes. The last version which was known to work was Netflix 4.7.0 Build 7941 if you can find it.
